Library Services:
Computers
The Sauk City Library has computers available for public use. Please see the Policies page for more information.
Internet Access
The library has four Internet Computer Stations that can be used for two 30 minute sessions per day, for a total of 60 minutes. Computers may be reserved online up to 1 day in advance.
Three of these stations are handicap accessible and one station has a rollerball mouse for easier control and is also capable of having enlarged text on the screen for easier reading.
To use the Internet, a patron must have a current library card from anywhere in the South Central System.
Netbooks
We now have 3 Netbooks available for patrons to use in library on a first-come, first-serve basis. Dale Kraemer, a local Eagle Scout, fundraised for nearly a year to purchase the Netbooks as part of his Eagle Scout Service Project.
The Netbooks will check out for two hours, and are equipped with Internet access, the full Microsoft Office Suite, Skype and wireless printing.
Word Processing
We currently have 2 word processor PC's with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel on it.
Game Computer
We have a game computer in our young adult area which has the following games on it:
- Scooby Doo
- Spirit
- Backyard Soccer 2004
- Lego Island Extreme Stunts
- I Spy Treasure Hunt
