The George Culver Community Library offers a variety of programs and materials that connect children with the world around them. Keeping your child supplied with books they are interested in and motivated to read can be the greatest predictor of eventual reading success.
We offer a large collection of board, picture, and chapter books, easy readers, books on CD, magazines, DVDs, and music. Our children's department includes the Dramatic Play and Literacy Center, a fun place to play and learn.
To encourage strong reading habits, we participate in the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten.
Our weekly Books and Beyond Storytime includes stories, songs, and activities, with a new theme each week.
And every summer we provide an action-packed Summer Library Program, jam-packed with special programs, reading challenges, and prizes.
